Magesi eye impressive 10-match unbeaten run

Magesi could extend their unbeaten streak to the 10 games in the Motsepe Foundation Championship this week while Orbit College aim to get back to winning ways on Wednesday.

With third-placed Orbit College suffering two defeats on the trot, a two-horse race between Magesi and University of Pretoria is beginning to emerge in the Motsepe Foundation Championship.

Magesi are preparing to face Hungry Lions at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium on Tuesday afternoon and could extend their unbeaten streak in the league to 10 matches.

The Limpopo outfit recorded a 2-0 win against Orbit College in their most recent league outing and subsequently opened up an 8-point lead over the North West Province side.

Second-placed University of Pretoria, who trail Magesi by a single point, will take on Maritzburg United at the Sugar Ray Xulu stadium on Tuesday. AmaTuks go into their next game on the back of three consecutive victories, while the Team of Choice are unbeaten in their last six league fixtures.
