The action from the Motsepe Foundation Championship continues with the University of Pretoria leading with 31 points in the standings following their win against MM Platinum at the Dobsonville Stadium on Monday.

Tuesday’s fixtures sees JDR Stars take on Magesi, Castric Stars square off against Maritzburg United, Orbit College will lock horns with Milford and Upington City will hope for all three points against Hungry Lions.

Fixtures will be played at 15:30 CAT.

Orbit College will be looking to keep up the chase with AmaTuks, as they are only one point behind the Pretoria team with a game in hand.

There will be more jam-packed excitement in the MFC on Wednesday as Baroka FC, who are placed third play at home at the Global Stadium against Platinum City Rovers.

Elsewhere, Black Leopards take on Pretoria Callies and Marumo Gallants take on Venda Football Club.

For Baroka, their quest to regain their PSL status remains strong as they are only four points from the top.

After parting ways with their playmaker Ntiyiso Bombi in January, it remains to be seen how the team will do with the changes in the squad.

Bombi added much value to Baroka’s attack and his deal was expected to come to an end in December 2024.

Magesi FC also had some team changes in January and announced the signing of five new players, including former Kaizer Chiefs winger Elmore Chirambadare.

Coach Clinton Larson is excited about the new additions to his squad.

In their pursuit of advancement to the PSL, they have also included the expertise of Rhulani Manzini and Deolin Mekoa, counterbalanced by the youthful talents of Karabo Seroto and Ntuthuko Mlotshwa
