Upington City and University of Pretoria will be hoping to keep up with the pace set by Orbit College at the top of the Motsepe Foundation Championship this week, as matchday 17 in South Africa’s First Division rolls on.

Orbit College, who bagged a 2-0 win over Platinum City Rovers this past weekend, will be facing the University of Pretoria at the Tuks Stadium on Tuesday afternoon. After recording four wins in their last five league matches, AmaTuks now trail Orbit by two points in third place on the log.

Elsewhere, second-placed Upington City could make it four wins on the trot when they travel to the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium on Tuesday, where they will meet a Magesi outfit who are winless in their last four matches.

After slumping down to fourth position, as a result of their 1-0 loss to Milford last week, Baroka will turn their attention to Maritzburg United on Tuesday afternoon. With the tie set to take place at the Sugar Ray Xulu Stadium, both Baroka and Maritzburg will be hoping to get back to winning ways this week.

Other than Upington City, Black Leopards are the only team in the league who have recorded consecutive wins in their last two matches. This week, Lidoda Duvha will take on Milford at the Chatsworth Stadium, with the latter still buzzing over their victory over Baroka last week.
