Magesi need nothing less than a win in the Motsepe Foundation Championship, as the University of Pretoria is at the top of the table following a 2-1 win in the first round of fixtures for the weekend.

Magesi will take on 7th placed Black Leopards on Saturday afternoon at home in the Limpopo derby. And it’s crunch time as it’s now the business end of the season.

Black Leopards have the opportunity to climb up to 4th place should they obtain three points, the team is also seeking vengeance for their previous loss against Magesi back in September at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium.

Coach Solly Luvhengo of the Black Leopards conveyed optimism about their performance at the moment, underscoring their commitment to winning all upcoming home games and striving for at least one point in away matches.

Elsewhere, in Saturday’s fixtures Castric Stars take on MM Platinum, Upington City face off against Marumo Gallants, Platinum City host Pretoria Callies, Orbit College take on Maritzburg United and Milford travel to JDR Stars. All the matches kick off at 3.30 pm CAT.
