England international hooker Jack Singleton has joined Toulon as a medical joker, the Top 14 club announced on Wednesday.

The 27-year-old, who has been at Gloucester since 2020, has been drafted into the Toulon squad following injuries to Teddy Baubigny and Anthony Etrillard.

"Jack has an excellent technique, whether in the scrum, on the touchline or as a tackler, and his precision and composure are undeniable assets in this position," said Toulon sporting director Laurent Emmanuelli in a press release.

Singleton, who previously played for Worcester and Saracens, has only played two games for Gloucester in the English Premiership this season.

Currently fourth in the Top 14, Toulon face second-placed Pau on Saturday in round nine.
