The BIG weekend: 1-3 March

It's a MONSTER weekend of sport, with derbies abound, so ensure you stay connected to DStv so as not to miss a single goal, try or moment of madness on the track.

We see you, early risers, and start your day off with some Los Angeles 7s as the Blitzboks take on Ireland, looking for revenge after last weekend's defeat in Vancouver

We'll then let you go about your day, before pulling you back to your screen of choice for some Vodacom URC action as the Lions 'welcome' the Sharks

Then guess what? The first real action of the 2024 F1 season comes roaring to life as Max, Lewis, Charles, Fernando and the rest of the hopefuls battle it out in the kingdom. And yes, the main race is on Saturday

After the earlier appetite whetter, we present the main rugby course for the day as the hungry Bulls face the angry Stormers. Can you believe the hosts have never beaten their coastal rivals in the URC?!

Now that you are hooked in for the rest of the day, better get out that second screen as it just gets busier. Keeping with the derby theme, we give you two Soweto GIANTS facing off in the DStv Premiership

 - Kaizer Chiefs v Moroka Swallows, SS PSL, 5:45pm

To round off this incredible day, the Blitzboks are back - and it doesn't get any easier. After Ireland, they face the Vancouver champs Argentina

SUNDAY

The Sevens boys start us off again, tackling Spain just as we're telling ourselves it's a new day, and we should be in bed. But hey, it's just seven more minutes....

We have saved the best for last, with the Manchester derby revving us back up as the weekend winds down. Buckle up, this is gonna be intense
