Saturday may be just another sporting day for most, but if you’re a rugby nut, there is a feast of the oval ball waiting for you this weekend on SuperSport.

With the Singapore Sevens kicking off in the morning, and a host of fifteens clashes in the afternoon, there is no better way to get your fix than to stay glued to SuperSport for all the action.

The Emirates Lions, Cell C Sharks, Vodacom Bulls and Toyota Cheetahs are all in action against foreign opposition while the Blitzboks will be looking to take another step closer to Olympic qualification when they compete in the former British colony.

Kicking off the day will be the Blitzboks, who are now in fourth spot on the HSBC World Series rankings, and will face Scotland at 6.14am (GMT+2, CAT) before facing Canada at 9.40am. They finish off their pool play with a showdown against Sevens magicians Fiji at 1.28pm.

Then it’s Swys de Bruin’s side’s chance to show their big loss to the Cell C Sharks last week was a fluke in the cold and rain as they head to Canberra to take on the Brumbies.

De Bruin has brought back experience and Lionel Mapoe will win his 100th cap for the side as they look to kick off their tour with a bang. (kick off 11.45am, SS1)

The Sharks will want to retain that winning momentum and have Jean-Luc du Preez back as a boost as they return home to host the Argentinean Jaguares. The Jaguares stole the game last week at Loftus Versfeld at the death, but chances are they will have a tougher time this week in Durban where the Sharks are on a high right now. (Kick off 3.05pm, SS1).

The Bulls are still smarting from those two yellow cards that lost them the game last weekend and coach Pote Human has brought back six Springboks – including a first outing this season from giant lock RG Snyman. The Bulls also have Marco van Staden and Warrick Gelant back to give them more punch and will be looking for a bonus-point victory, but after the Reds disposed of the Stormers last weekend, they won’t be easy beats. The kickoff here at Loftus Versfeld is at 5.15pm (SS1).

When Super Rugby dies down for the weekend the Toyota Cheetahs will host the Welsh side, Dragons, in Bloemfontein in a Pro14 game on Saturday night. (kick-off 7.30pm, SS1)

The buffet of top class action doesn’t stop there, with big schools clashes between Paarl Boys and Affies kicking off at 2.10pm (SS11) and the Eastern Cape Schools derby between Queens and Dale commanding attention at 3.45pm (SS11).

There is also a Guinness Premiership game between Bristol and Saracens to keep you going, kicking off at 8.25pm on SuperSport 8.

CHRONOLOGICAL ORDER FOR THE TOP ACTION:

Blitzboks v Scotland at 6.14am (CAT)
Blitzboks v Canada, 9.40am
Brumbies v Lions, 11.45am
Blitzboks v Fiji, 1.28pm
Sharks v Jaguares, 3.05pm
Bulls v Reds, 5.15pm
Cheetahs v Dragons, 7.30pm
