Netball South Africa mourns Mpimpi

It is with heavy hearts that we announce that Laytie Mpimpi passed away on Monday after a brief illness and was in hospital during the time of his passing.

It's with heavy hearts that we announce that Laytie Mpimpi, who was Team Manager for the Male Netball national team, passed away on Monday. Our heartfelt condolences to the Mpimpi family and the entire netball fraternity.

Laytie was the brother to the President, Ms Cecilia Molokwane, and was Team Manager for the Male Netball national team (PUMAS).

He has been under the care of President Molokwane until he left for a routine hospital check-up, where he passed on.

The federation requests for patience and prayers towards the family during this difficult period.
