Sekhukhune United and TS Galaxy played to a 0-0 draw in a DStv Premiership match played at the Peter Mokaba Stadium on Friday night.

As a result, Babina Noko remained fourth in the league standings - six points behind third-placed Orlando Pirates with four matches left. Sekhukhune will be away to SuperSport United on 7 May

Galaxy, on the other hand, moved up to the fifth spot in the standings - two points behind Sekhukhune, but the Rockets have one game in hand. The Rockets will be away to Kaizer Chiefs on 7 May.

Babina Noko were the better side in the opening stages, but they couldn't keep their attempts on target. Jamie Webber's effort missed the target in the second minute before Elias Mokwana failed to keep his shot on target in the sixth minute.

The hosts continued to push for the opening goal and they were finally able to test goalkeeper Fiacre Ntwari in the 26th minute, and he denied Webber. The score was 0-0 during the halftime break following a first-half which saw Sekhukhune fail to take their chances in the final third.

The two teams struggled to create clear-cut chances after the restart and Sead Ramovic decided to refresh his attack. The Galaxy coach introduced Samir Nurkovic and Lindokuhle Mbatha two minutes before the hour mark.

Nurkovic had a rare sight of the goal-posts in stoppage time and the former Kaizer Chiefs striker unleashed a low shot which was well saved by keeper Badra Ali Sangare who ensured that the encounter ended in a 0-0 draw on the night.
