Gayle joins 10 000-run ODI club

West Indies star Chris Gayle reached the 10 000-run milestone in ODI cricket on Wednesday against England.

The 39-year-old opener also hit his 25th century in the format, reaching three figures in just 55 balls.

He also reached the 500 international sixes mark in his innings as West Indies chased 419 to win the fourth game of the five-match series.
