Blitzboks into Singapore final
The Blitzboks beat Fiji 17-7 in their pool game on day one but will have to repeat the feat against a resurgent Fijian side, who took England down 26-12 in the other semifinal.
In the process Fiji did South Africa a favour by extending their fourth place lead in the qualification stakes for the Olympic Games, but there is no doubt the Blitzboks will want to add the Singapore crown to their Vancouver victory earlier in the year.

Stephen Tommasin grabbed one back for USA early in the second half before a beautiful offload from Justin Geduld from the kickoff allowed Impi Visser an easy run in down the touchline for the third try.
The fourth was a penalty try, given along with a yellow card to Tommasin when he deliberately knocked down Geduld’s pass to Werner Kok that clearly would have resulted in a try.
With their form thus far the Blitzboks will back themselves in the final, which takes place at 1pm (CAT, GMT+2)
