    "body": "<p>\r\nSpringbok hooker Malcolm Marx was the big winner at the Lions Rugby Company's annual awards on Saturday, picking up the coveted Player of the year award and three others.<\/p>\r\n<p>\r\nMarx, who is also the favourite for the SA Rugby Player of the year award, walked away with the Super Rugby Player of the Year, Supporters Player of the Year, Players\u2019 Player of the Year and Most Valued Player of the Year. <\/p>\r\n<p>\r\nThe Currie Cup Player of the Year was Kwagga Smith, who is with the Springboks Sevens side and could not accept his award in person. <\/p>\r\n<p>\r\nFranco Mostert and Ross Cronje were also honoured for their Super Rugby contribution while former Bulls lock Marvin Orie won the Currie Cup forward of the year. <\/p>",
