Marlize het vir Toks&Tjops ‘n paar resepte gestuur wat haar familie op ‘n gereelde basis maak met ‘n braai. Haar familie gebruik die resepte al die afgelope 20 jaar en dit is ‘n groot treffer by hulle huis.

Resep 1
1 Medium pot vol koue stywe pap
1 500ml Room
Gerasperde cheddar en mozzarella kaas
Maak balletjies met die pap [soos frikadelle] en sit dit in ‘n gesmeerde pan
Gooi die room oor die pap-balletjies
Gooi die kaas oor
Bak in die oond teen 160 grade tot kaas gesmelt is en room bietjie borrel

Resep 2
1 Groot pot vol stampmielies [1kg]
1 kg spek, blokkies gesny
1 groen, geel en rooi peper, repies gesny
2 groot uie, blokkies gesny
500g cherrie tamaties, in die helfte gesny
Gerasperde gouda en mozzarella kaas, genoeg om stampmielies te dek
Braai die bacon, pepers, uie, tamaties in olyfolie
Meng met die stampmielies
Gooi die kaas oor
Bak in die oond teen 160 grade tot kaas gesmelt is

Resep 3
1 groen, geel en rooi peper, repies gesny
500g Spek
2 uie, blokkies gesny
500g cherrie tamaties, in skywe gesny
500g groen bone, in julienne skywe gesny
100ml Balsimic asyn
100ml olyfolie
Sout en peper na smaak
Braai al die bestanddele saam, laat dit effens afkoel en meng dan met die asyn en olie
