Is that you Steve Irwin?

Cody Gribble performed an incredible act of bravery or stupidity, depending on which side of the fence you sit, as he channelled his inner Steve Irwin (The Croc Hunter) during the opening round of the Arnold Palmer Invitational on Thursday.

AS the American made his way down a fairway of the Bay Hill Club and Lodge, he happened upon an alligator basking in the sun.

It appears that since he was enduring a tough round of golf he decided to see if a change in careers to alligator wrangler would be a viable option, as he proceeded to escort the reptile off the course with a ‘love-tap’ to it’s tail.

All ended well as the beast scuttled off into the water, but it could have ended badly for the golfer, who’s hands are his main source of income, had the predator decided to turn on Cody rather than retreat to safety.
