GALATASARAY 0-1 PARIS SAINT GERMAIN

- PSG have won three consecutive away matches in the Champions League for the first time since February 2013 under Carlo Ancelotti.

- Galatasary have failed to score in six of their last seven Champions League matches, as many times as in their previous 22 games combined.

- Mauro Icardi has now scored five goals in eight Champions League matches for PSG and parent club Inter Milan; all five of his goals have come when his side have been trailing or drawing.

- PSG coach Thomas Tuchel was shown a yellow card in the 39th minute, in the process becoming the first-ever manager to be shown a card in the Champions League.

- No Turkish player started in this match for Galatasaray, while only one Frenchman did so for PSG – Presnel Kimpembe.

FK CRVENA ZVEZDA 3-1 OLYMPIAKOS

- Crvena Zvezda have lost only once in their last 14 home matches in all European competitions (W7 D6).

- Olympiakos are winless in their last 10 Champions League games (D2 L8) - their longest such run in the competition.

- Milos Vulic became the first substitute to score a Champions League goal for Crvena Zvezda, while Richmond Boakye later became the second to do so.

- Yassine Benzia became the eighth different player to be shown a red card for Olympiakos in the Champions League and first since both Olof Mellberg and Matt Derbyshire were sent off against Bordeaux in March 2010.

- Olympiakos’ Rúben Semedo scored his first-ever Champions League goal in what was his eight appearance in the competition.

TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR 2-7 BAYERN MUNICH

- Tottenham Hotspur have conceded seven goals in a home match for the very first time in any major competition.

- Tottenham Hotspur are the first English side to concede seven goals in any European competition since Tottenham Hotspur lost 0-8 to FC Koln in the UEFA Intertoto Cup in July 1995.

- Spurs’ 2-7 defeat to Bayern was Mauricio Pochettino’s joint-heaviest ever defeat as a manager in all competitions alongside a 0-5 loss to Real Madrid in March 2012 with Espanyol.

- FC Bayern Munich registered their joint-second biggest ever away victory in European competition, behind only a 7-1 win against Roma in October 2014 (Champions League).

- Spurs conceded seven goals in a competitive match for the first time since December 1996 versus Newcastle United in the Premier League (1-7).

- Spurs’ 2-7 defeat was the biggest ever margin of defeat by an English team at home in European competition.

- Serge Gnabry is the only the second German player to score four goals in a Champions League match after Mario Gomez versus Basel in March 2012 (also for Bayern, 7-0-win).

- Bayern Munich’s Robert Lewandowski has scored in his last nine competitive appearances – his longest scoring streak in his German club career. Indeed, Lewandowski has scored 14 goals in 10 games all competitions for Bayern this season, more than any other player in the big-five European leagues.

MANCHESTER CITY 2-0 DINAMO ZAGREB

- Manchester City have won five consecutive Champions League home matches for the very first time.

- Dinamo Zagreb have become the first-ever side to lose 13 consecutive away matches in the Champions League.

- Manchester City completed 626 more passes than Dinamo Zagreb in this match (727-100), also accumulating 71 more touches in their opponent’s box (73-2).

- Pep Guardiola has won all three of his Champions League matches against Dinamo Zagreb – his sides have scored nine goals without conceding.

- Riyad Mahrez has been directly involved in eight goals in eight Champions League appearances for Manchester City (2 goals, 6 assists), with three of those coming this season.

- Raheem Sterling has been directly involved in 19 goals in his last 16 home appearances in the Champions League for Manchester City (11 goals, eight assists), scoring or assisting at least once in 12 of his last 13 such matches.

JUVENTUS 3-0 BAYER 04 LEVERKUSEN

- The home side has won all three meetings between Juventus and Bayer Leverkusen in the Champions League, with the Old Lady winning their two home games against the German side by a combined score of 7-0.

- Bayer Leverkusen failed to attempt a single shot on target in this match – this is the first time they have done so in a Champions League outing since Opta began recording this data in 2003-04, in what is their 48th game played in the competition in this time.

- Bayer Leverkusen have become the 33rd different club against which Juventus’ Cristiano Ronaldo has scored in the Champions League, equalling the record previously set by Raúl (also 33 sides).

- Juventus forward Cristiano Ronaldo has scored more Champions League goals against German opponents (27 in 25 appearances) than any other player has against sides from a single nation in the competition.

- Juventus striker Gonzalo Higuain's opening goal against Bayer Leverkusen was his first to be scored from outside the penalty area in the Champions League, having scored each of his previous 22 goals in the competition from inside the box.

- Federico Bernardeschi scored his first goal in 28 appearances for Juventus in all competitions since last finding the net against Bologna in January.

LOKOMOTIV MOSCOW 0-2 ATLÉTICO DE MADRID

- This was Atlético de Madrid’s first away win in the Champions League by more than one goal since February 2017 when they beat Bayer Leverkusen 4-2, and their biggest such win without conceding a goal in the competition since September 2015 when they also beat Galatasaray 2-0.

- Since their return to the competition in 2013-14, Atlético de Madrid have kept more clean sheets in the Champions League (35 in 64 games) than any other team.- Lokomotiv Moscow have now lost seven of their last nine Champions League games (W2), scoring just six goals whilst conceding 16 in this period.

- Aged 19 years and 325 days, João Félix became Atlético de Madrid's youngest ever goalscorer in the Champions League, overtaking Sergio Agüero (20y 106d against PSV in September 2008).

- In what was his 25th appearance in the competition, Atlético de Madrid midielder Thomas Partey scored just his second Champions League goal, and his first since October 2017 against FK Qarabag.

ATALANTA 1-2 SHAKHTAR DONETSK

- Shakhtar Donetsk are without a clean sheet in their last 18 Champions League matches, conceding 37 goals – it is the longest current run without a shutout among the 32 teams competing this season.

- Shakhtar Donetsk registered just their second-ever away win against an Italian team in the Champions League, also beating Roma in February 2011 (W2 D1 L6).

- Duvan Zapata scored Atalanta’s first-ever Champions League goal with what was their 18th shot.

- Since start of last season, Duvan Zupata has netted 34 goals for Atalanta – more than any other player has scored for a Serie A club in this period (all comps).

- Since start of last season, Moraes (6) has been directly involved in more Champions League goals than any other Shakhtar player (4 goals, 2 assists).

- Since his Champions League debut in the 2007/08 season, no goalkeeper has saved more penalties in the competition than Shakhtar’s Andriy Pyatov (5).

- Shakhtar Donetsk’s starting XI tonight was their oldest ever in Champions League history (29 years and 64 days old).

REAL MADRID 2-2 CLUB BRUGGE

- Real Madrid have gone at least two goals behind in a Champions League match without losing the game for the first time since December 2006 against Dynamo Kyiv (2-2).

- Club Brugge are unbeaten in six Champions League matches (W1 D5), having lost eight in a row before this run.

- Real Madrid have conceded 2+ goals in three consecutive home games in all European competitions for the first time in their history.

- Club Brugge’s opening goal, scored via Emmanuel Dennis, was the earliest they have ever netted in a Champions League game (8 minutes, 9 seconds).

- Real Madrid’s Sergio Ramos has scored in a 10th different season in the Champions League, becoming just the second defender to do so in the competition after Gerard Pique (also 10).

- Aged 21 years and 320 days, Emmanuel Dennis became the third-youngest player to score at least twice in a single game against Real Madrid in the Champions League, after Alexandre Pato in 2009-10 (20y 49d) and Dele Alli in 2017-18 (21y 204d).

- Club Brugge’s Emmanuel Dennis became the third Nigerian to score against Real Madrid in the Champions League, after James Obiorah for Lokomotiv Moscow in 2002-03 and Ayila Yussuf for Dynamo Kyiv in 2004-05.
