VIDEO: Champions League Review

Neymar starred as Paris Saint-Germain sent out a statement of intent with an impressive 3-0 Champions League victory over Bayern Munich on Wednesday, while Michy Batshuayi grabbed an injury-time winner as Chelsea won 2-1 at Atletico Madrid.

Group A

Basel 5-0 Benfica
On a night of impressive performances, Basel could reasonably lay claim to the best of them all, Dimitri Oberlin scoring twice in the Swiss club's biggest ever Uefa Champions League win.

CSKA Moskva 1-4 Manchester United
Romelu Lukaku struck twice to lead Manchester United to an emphatic 4-1 away win over CSKA Moscow. The Belgian striker headed home after four minutes and tapped in just before the interval for his 10th goal of the season to put the English Premier League side 3-0 ahead at halftime.

Group B

PSG 3-0 Bayern Munich
Edinson Cavani and Neymar both scored as Paris Saint-Germain claimed a convincing 3-0 victory over a disappointing Bayern Munich in their heavyweight Champions League clash in the French capital. PSG got off to a dream start as their other Brazilian summer signing Dani Alves gave them the lead inside 90 seconds at the Parc des Princes and they never looked back.

Anderlecht 0-3 Celtic
Scottish Champions Celtic enjoyed a rare away victory in their 3-0 win over an uninspiring Anderlecht in their Champions League clash in Brussels, staking their claim on the third spot in Group B. Ahead of the match, Celtic, Scottish champions for the past six seasons, had only won once in 30 away matches in the Champions League.

Group C

Qarabag 1-2 Roma
Goals from Greek defender Konstantinos Manolas and Bosnia striker Edin Dzeko helped AS Roma to a 2-1 win at Qarabag in an entertaining Champions League Group C clash. The pair scored in the opening 15 minutes in the Azeri capital to give the Serie A side a two-goal lead but the visitors endured a nervy second half after Pedro Henrique pulled one back in the 28th minute.

Atletico Madrid 1-2 Chelsea
Michy Batshuayi struck a dramatic winner with the last kick of the game as Chelsea inflicted Atletico Madrid's first defeat at their new Wanda Metropolitano home with a hugely impressive 2-1 Champions League victory. Substitute Batshuayi's late intervention was just reward for a dominant Chelsea display despite falling behind to Antoine Griezmann's penalty five minutes before halftime.

Group D

Sporting CP 0-1 Barcelona
Barcelona laboured to a second successive Champions League victory after Sebastian Coates' own goal helped the Spanish side record an unconvincing 1-0 Group D win against Sporting. After a frustrating first half, Barcelona scored in fortunate circumstances when Coates bundled into his own net under pressure from Luis Suarez in the 49th minute.

Juventus 2-0 Olympiacos
Juve were frustrated for three-quarters of Takis Lemonis's first game back at the Olympiacos helm, but efforts from Gonzalo Higuaín and Mario Mandžukic ensured they picked up their first win of the campaign.
