Gor release Caf list



Kenya’s representatives in this year’s Confederations Cup Gor Mahia have submitted their list of 21 players to Confederation of African Football (Caf).

Three of their new signings, namely Paul Rafael Kiongera, Zachary Onyango and David Owino have been drafted into the squad.

Surprisingly, influential midfielder Moses ‘Dube’ Odhiambo , who left for Oman’s Elite League side Salalah early in the year, has been included.

Other notable inclusions are the Kenyan Premier League Player of the Year Dan Sserenkuma, Ivan Anguyo – Defender of the Year – Rama Salim and Jerim Onyango. Gor, who are scheduled to host Anse Reunion of Seychelles in the preliminary round between 15-17 February, will send their final 25-man squad before 15 January, as required by the continental body.

Squad: Jerim Onyango , Ivo Mapunda,Zachary Onyango, David Otieno, Christopher Wekesa, Donald Mosoti, Musa Mohammed, Yusuf Juma, David Owino, Ivan Anguyo, Solomon Nasio, Antony Teddy Akumu, Ali Abondo, Kevin Omondi, Joseph Njuguna, Moses Odhiambo and Moses Otieno, Edwin Lavatsa, Dan Sserunkuma, Rama ‘Mbugus’ Salim and Paul Kiongera.
