Seychelles will take on Namibia in the 2019 Cosafa Cup group B match at the Princess Magogo Stadium in South Africa on Thursday.

Kick-off is at 5:30pm CAT.

The Pirates crashed out of the competition following their 0-0 stalemate with Mozambique in their second match which was played on Tuesday.

As a result, Seychelles are fourth on the group B standings - three points behind second-placed Namibia.

Seychelles head coach Gavin Jeanne will be keen to ensure that the Pirates end their Cosafa Cup campaign on a winning note.

Perry Monnaie, who is a promising striker, will be hoping to play an important role in helping Seychelles defeat Namibia.

Meanwhile, Namibia's hopes of reaching the quarterfinals took a knock when they suffered a 2-1 defeat to Malawi on Tuesday.

The defeat left Brave Warriors placed second on the group B standings - three points behind the leaders, Malawi.

Collin Benjamin's side can only qualify for the last eight if they defeat Seychelles and the result between Malawi, and Mozambique goes their way.

Midfielder Joslin Kamatuka, who netted against Mozambique on match-day one, will be keen to inspire the Brave Warriors to victory.

In head-to-head stats, Seychelles and Namibia have clashed five times.

The Brave Warriors have recorded two victories, while three matches ended in a draw.
