Club Africain target quarterfinal spot

Club Africain will take on Ismaily in the 2018-19 Caf Champions League group C match at the Stade Olympique de Radès in Tunisia on Saturday.

Kick-off is at 3pm CAT.

Beb Jedid Team secured a 1-0 win over Algerian outfit CS Constantine away on match-day five last weekend.

Despite the victory, Club Africain remained third on the group standings - three points behind the leaders, Constantine.

French coach Victor Zvunka will be keen to guide his side to victory which would see his side reach the quarterfinals if the result between Constantine and TP Mazembe goes their away.

Meanwhile, Ismaily held DR Congolese football heavyweights TP Mazembe to a 1-1 draw at home on matchday five last weekend.

The draw saw Egyptian side Ismaily remain fourth on the group standings - five points behind third-placed Club Africain.

Macedonian trainer Cedomir Janevski, the Ismaily coach, will be eager to ensure that his team ends its group stage campaign on a winning note having already being eliminated from the competition.
