Sahel want three points from Al Hilal

Etoile Sahel are on the road this Wednesday to honour their Caf Champions League group A match when they visit Al-Hilal Omdurman in Sudan on Wednesday.

Kick-off is at 9:00pm (CAT).

Etoile Sahel are fresh from a 1-1 draw against their hosts three weeks ago and will now be motivated to go all out and ensure they consolidate their pole position in group A.

Looking at their previous three matches, Sahel defeated Ferroviario De Beira 5-0, claimed a 2-1 win over El-Merreikh, but shared the spoils against Omdurman just before the recent Fifa International break.

Hubert Velud's men occupy the top spot with seven points and a win will take them to 10 points, closer to booking a spot in the knockout stages.

The experienced defender, Zied Boughattas will be one of the key figures in this encounter as he netted in their 1-1 draw against Al Hilal.

On the other hand, Omdurman are out to claim their maiden victory in the group and will hopefully do so in front of their home crowd.

The Sudanese giants have three points and are third in group A - all their points coming from draws and to keep their knockout stage qualification alive, a win is a must.

Bagging a vital point away in Tunisia was important for Al Hilal considering their stature in continental football.

Coach Nabil Kouki will call upon his trusted midfielder Mohammed Musa to find the back of the net, as he secured a point for them in the opening round.
