Orlando Pirates will be without two of their form players for Tuesday's Absa Premiership clash with Chippa United after the versatile Abbubaker Mobara and midfielder Ben Motshwari succumbed to injuries.

Motshwari is undergoing rehabilitation for a knee injury with no set return date, while Mobara was injured in the 2-2 draw at Highlands Park on the weekend.

Mobara is expected to be back in action next week as Pirates juggle fixtures at the start of their African Champions League group stage campaign.

Pirates will move to within a two points of league leaders BidVest Wits with a victory, but will have played a game more.

Chippa are winless in their last 10 matches in all competitions and lost 1-0 to Pirates at home earlier in the campaign. They are already on their third coach of the season in Joel Masutha, after Dan Malesela and Eric Tinkler were shown the door.
