Consistency key for CT City - Ngoma

Consistency is key for Cape Town City’s players as they face a tough final run-in to the Absa Premiership and seek the title in their maiden season, said speedy winger Aubrey Ngoma.

City host Bidvest Wits on Wednesday at the Cape Town Stadium in a top of the table clash and next week take on Kaizer Chiefs at the same venue.

“At this stage of the season players are looking for consistency. All we want to do is carry on from where we left off,” Ngoma said ahead of Wednesday’s game.

City beat Chippa 4-1 in their last home game followed by a 4-2 away triumph over Platinum Stars.

“It’s obviously an advantage to be able to play at home and just have to make sure we are more concentrated about the game. I think we have every chance of winning.”

Ngoma, 27, has scored three times in the Absa Premiership this season in 22 starts for City, who are one point ahead of Wits in the league standings.
