WP through to interprovincial final



Tuffy Western Province came back from a 3-1 deficit to win 4-3 against Northern Blues in the second semifinal of the Men's Interprovincial Hockey Tournament at University of Cape Town on Saturday morning.

UCT was the third pitch used after Hartleyvale Stadium and Pitch B were waterlogged during the match which began on Friday night.

A torrential downpour saw players called off with 30 minutes left and Blues leading 3-1 before the match was interrupted overnight.

Province meet defending champions Southern Gauteng in Saturday's 4pm final at Hartleyvale.

Southerns beat KZN Raiders 4-1in the first semifinal at Hartleyvale Friday afternoon.
