Anderson fights to reach third round
Kevin Anderson fought back from a set down on Wednesday to defeat Sergiy Stakhovsky of the Ukraine and progress to the third round of the Australian Open in Melbourne.
Anderson, the only South African left in the singles competition, negotiated his way through the second round with a 3-6, 6-1, 7-6, 6-3 victory.
The SA No 1 faces world No 7 Tomas Berdych of the Czech Republic in the third round on Friday.
