Serbia loses meaningless last singles to Belgium
Serbia lost both reverse singles matches to Belgium on Sunday after it had already qualified for the Davis Cup quarterfinals earlier in the weekend.
With top-ranked 1 Novak Djokovic sitting out Sunday's meaningless matches, Belgium took full advantage with David Goffin beating Boris Pashanski 6-4, 2-6, 6-2 and Steve Darcis defeating Nenad Zimonjic 6-2, 6-2.
The 2 losses left Serbia with a 3-2 victory to advance. Serbia will face the winner of the match between Brazil and the United States.
