Player of the Year nominees announced



Ten players have been nominated for the 2012 SA Rugby Union (Saru) Player of the Year award.

The public and members of the media voted for the nominees, Saru said in a statement on Wednesday.

Saru is now asking for the public to vote for the player they feel has achieved most in the 2012 South African rugby season.

Voting is via the Springboks’ Facebook page and closes on Wednesday, 24 October at noon.

The winner of the accolade will be named at an awards function in Cape Town on November 1.
