Ireland's D'Arcy, Heaslip to miss 3rd test

Center Gordon D'Arcy and backrower Jamie Heaslip will miss Ireland's third rugby test against New Zealand after sustaining injuries in its 22-19 second test loss on Saturday.

D'Arcy suffered a calf strain, Heaslip a broken finger and both have been ruled out of next Saturday's test at Hamilton. New Zealand has leads 2-0 in the three-test series.

Ireland team management said Ulster centre Paddy Wallace will join the squad as a replacement for D'Arcy who is to immediately return home but no replacement for Heaslip will be sought.

Captain Brian O'Driscoll and prop Mike Ross both suffered minor facial injuries in Saturday's match at Christchurch but have been passed fit to remain with the touring team.
