Kevin Pietersen represents the Delhi Daredevils, while Dwayne Bravo, one of the most exciting limited-over players in the world, turns out for the Chennai Super Kings. SA locals Faf du Plessis and Albie Morkel also feature for Chennai.
Kieron Pollard plays for Mumbai Indians along with Sachin Tendulkar, plus free-scoring West Indian, Dwayne Smith.
Other big-name players include Shane Watson (Sydney Sixers), one of the players of the tournament in the World T20, as well as Umar Gul (Uva Next, one of the qualifiers) and the Daredevils’ Andre Russell.
As far as local stars are concerned, Jacques Kallis represents Kolkata Knight Riders, while Richard Levi plays for the Mumbai Indians.
