Watch Canada, SA fight for World spot

South Africa’s quest to return to the elite 16-nation World Group of the Davis Cup after a 14-year absence will be broadcast live on SuperSport.

Canada are the final hurdle in South Africa’s return to the premier international team tennis event.

Both teams are bidding for a place back in the World Group and will have to battle it out in a five-match playoff.

The playoffs will be broadcast live on SuperSport 2 and in High Definition starting on Friday.

Izak van der Merwe, Rik de Voest, Raven Klaasen and Nikala Scholtz have been tasked with playing South Africa back to the world stage and also ending the country’s three years of heartbreak at the final hurdle, having crashed out to India (2209), Germany (2010) and Croatia (2011).
