Relive Le Clos’s greatest moment
Four years ago a 16-year-old Chad Le Clos watched admiringly as his idol, Michael Phelps, staked his claim as the greatest Olympian ever in Beijing with eight gold medals and seven world records.
Little did he know that fours later he would dethrone Phelps in the 200m butterfly, an event the 19-time Olympic medalist had won in the last two editions of the Olympics.
You can now re-live what will surely go down as the 20-year-old’s finest moment in a mini-documentary that features the race, his immediate reactions after the race, the emotionally-charged medal ceremony and his father’s emotional reaction.
The package also includes coverage of South Africans who witnessed the race at Ekhaya Village, a mini-South Africa in the heart of London.
