Watch future athletics stars in action
While the world anxiously counts down to the London Olympic Games, the next generation of Olympians begin their journey to Rio 2016 and beyond at the 14th Edition of the IAAF World Junior Championships in Athletics in Barcelona.
The championships will be broadcast live on SuperSport.
Barcelona 2012 will offer the world a sneak peak at what could possibly be the 2020 Olympics line-up as over 1 700 junior athletes, the largest in the history of the championships, contest the six-day meet.
A 31-strong contingent will look to improve on South Africa’s two-medal tally from Moncton 2010.
