Third test made available on free-to-air
SuperSport and e.tv have again concluded a once-off agreement to broadcast this weekend’s third rugby test match between South Africa and England on the free-to-air broadcaster at 10pm on Saturday.
This follows last week’s delayed broadcast on e.tv of the second test match.
Happy Ntshingila, CEO of SuperSport, said that last week’s sub-licensing of the broadcast rights to e.tv had gone smoothly and he looked forward to the same this weekend.
Monde Twala, Group Head of e.tv Channels Division, said: “We are pleased to again be working with SuperSport and are grateful to have concluded. Our transmission last weekend was a success and we are excited that South Africans will once again be able to watch the Springboks on national television this Saturday evening.”
The match will be broadcast live on SuperSport 1 and HD1 from 5pm, on SS4 at 6.45pm and on e.tv from 10pm.
