As South Africa’s quest of unseating England at the summit of test cricket nears, the Proteas will look to stretch and warm up for what will surely be an epic battle with matches against Bangladesh and Zimbabwe in the Zimbabwe Triangular Series.
England, whose preparations for the battle is against a much stronger West Indies, will be looking to wrap up the three-match ODI series against the Windies with a game to spare in order to afford key players plenty of rest ahead of the July series.
Having come so close to squaring the series on the weekend, England have gone back to the drawing board to devise a new plan of beating the Springboks. The new plan is put to test against the SA Barbarians North.
Major tournaments are never the same once the hosts have been knocked out. With Poland failing to progress beyond the group stages, Ukraine will be looking to keep the festive atmosphere provided by the home fans going at Euro 2012 when they play England.
