Athletics season in full swing on SS



With the marathons having started proceedings in February, the international athletics season swung into full gear this month with the commencement of the prestigious Diamond League along with the IAAF World Challenge League.

This week Olympic hopefuls like Kirani James, Carmelita Jeter, Matthias de Zordo, Tatyana Lysenko, LJ van Zyl, Asafa Powell, Mbulaeni Mulaudzi and Asbel Kiprop head east to Daegu and Shangahai for the second Diamond League meet and fifth stop of the World Challenge League to kick off their season.
