Mallett in Six Nations TV role



Whether you love him or hate him, Nick Mallett is a compelling rugby presence who will share his insights with SuperSport viewers when the Six Nations starts this weekend.

The former SA and Italy coach, who has since been strongly linked to the England job, will be in studio for the Calcutta Cup match between Scotland and reigning champions England.

He will also provide his razor-sharp analysis to Sunday’s Ireland-Wales fixture in Dublin.

Pieter de Villiers, the former French prop, will run the rule over the opening France-Italy clash on Saturday.

BROADCAST SCHEDULE (all times are SA, CAT, GMT+2)

Saturday:
France v Italy (SS1, 4.30pm)
Scotland v England (SS1, 7pm)

Sunday:
Ireland v Wales (SS1, 5pm)

SuperSport will also broadcast this weekend’s New Zealand Sevens, starting on Friday at 2am (SS1), with the Blitzbokke against the US.

Every match will be broadcast, concluding with the final at 10.30am on Sunday.
