Haslam getting better 'day by day'
Leon Haslam is confident his leg will be "nearly" 100 percent okay in time for the World Superbike race at Imola.
The British rider fractured his tibia during an official Superbike test at Phillip Island on February 20th.
He underwent surgery with two screws being insert to help the injury heal.
Such was his progress that Haslam took part in two days of testing at the MotorLand Aragon early last week on his S 1000 RR
The Brit is now relishing a return to racing and expects to be fine for this weekend's race at Imola.
"My leg is getting better day by day," he said.
"It is still a little sore and I can't walk on the leg yet, but it is a lot better than it was in Australia and it should be nearly 100 percent okay for Imola."
