Aoyama fractures wrist
Avintia Blusens CRT's Hiroshi Aoyama is expected to be fit for the first MotoGP test of 2013 despite fracturing his wrist.
The 31-year-old picked up the injury during a motocross accident while training near Barcelona last Friday, his hand apparently became trapped in the rear wheel of the bike.
MotoGP.com reports that the Japanese rider won't require surgery as it is only "a small fracture" and he is set to take part in the test at Sepang from February 5-7.
Aoyama only returned to MotoGP late last year following an unsuccessful stint in the World Superbikes in 2012. He was brought in as a replacement for the injured Yonny Hernandez at Avintia and the team decided to hand him a seat for 2013 alongside Hector Barbera.
