Corti handed surprise MotoGP debut
Claudio Corti, who was recently dropped by Italtrans Kalex Moto2, will be back in action at the season finale in Valencia, riding for Inmotec in MotoGP.
Corti, who is believed to be heading to MotoGP next season with Forward Racing alongside Colin Edwards, has yet to contest a premier class race.
However, in a surprise move, Inmotec announced that the Italian will ride one of their Avintia BQR bikes in this weekend's season finale. He will be on board the team's part carbon-fibre CRT machine.
"The rider who ride the Inmotec this GP, will be Claudio Corti. Good luck for him this weekend," Inmotec tweeted.
"BQR will have 3 riders: Silva, Corti & Aoyama for the Valencian GP."
