Vettel sets pace at Hungarian practice

Red Bull's Sebastian Vettel of Germany has set the fastest time in the first practice for the Hungarian Grand Prix.

Vettel finished 0.13 seconds ahead of teammate Mark Webber in Friday's 90-minute morning session. Poland's Robert Kubica was third in his Renault - expected to do well on the Hungaroring's winding, relatively slow design - while McLaren's Jenson Button, the defending world champion, was fourth and Williams' Rubens Barrichello fifth.

Ferrari's Felipe Massa was 12th in his return to the track where he suffered near-fatal injuries in qualifying last year. Spaniard Fernando Alonso, who won his first Formula One race here in 2003, was seventh in the other Ferrari, almost 1.8 seconds off Vettel's pace.
