Double Formula One world champion Fernando Alonso said on Sunday that he is already dreaming of winning the world title with Ferrari.

Alonso, 28, is attending the 'Ferrari World Finals' in Valencia this weekend, after Renault allowed the Spaniard to be at the event with his new team. Alonso will drive for Ferrari from next season but his appearance at the event was in doubt as he still has contractual obligations with Renault until the end of the year.

"It's the first time that I can be part of the Ferrari world from the inside and I'm impressed and happy," said Alonso, who won the world title in 2005 and 2006 with Renault.

He added that he was impatient "to win the championship for Ferrari with (new team-mate Felipe) Massa".

The 'Ferrari World Finals', which brings the Maranello squad's racing season to a close, takes place this weekend at the Ricardo Tormo circuit.
