Nico targets points at F1 season opener
Nico Huelkenberg is targeting points at the opening Grand Prix of the season in Melbourne on March 16, the Force India driver said on Friday.
"Testing only tells you so much, but I think we still have some performance in our pocket. I just hope we are competitive and can race for good points," he told the team website.
Huelkenberg, who has started 57 Grands Prix in his career, has returned to drive for Force India this season after a year with Sauber.
Team principle Vijay Mallya said the team can "arrive in Melbourne feeling happy about the work we've done over the winter" and that he was excited by the changes made to the sport for this season.
"All the hard work has paid off, but it has been a very steep learning curve and a huge undertaking to get where we are today," he added.
