Raikkonen has two options for next year
Former world champion Kimi Raikkonen, who is being touted as a possible replacement for Mark Webber at Red Bull, said on Wednesday that he has two options for next year.
The Lotus driver, who is currently second in the drivers' standings, was asked in an interview published in the Italian magazine autosprint, how many options he currently has for next year.
"I would say that I have two," the Finn answered.
Raikkonen, who won the world championship in 2007 and took a two-year Formula One break from 2010, did not elaborate what his options where.
It seems unlikely that Red Bull will extend Webber's contract at the end of the season and the team has already indicated that they are interested in Raikkonen, who currently lies four points behind Vettel in the drivers' standings.
