Let’s Play teams up with Netball South Africa

The first Netball Let’s Play skills activation took place on the 27th & 28th July at KwaMakhasa Stadium in Umkhanyakude, near Hluhluwe northern KZN.

In the interest of sustainability, the activity included the training of 40 local Netball coaches in ‘putting the fun back into netball’ which was facilitated by qualified and accredited coaches in netball by Let’s Play partner, Active Education. The training of these coaches will form part of the “Let’s Play legacy’ and will remain on our database for possible future events to be held in this area.

420 girls from 28 locally based schools attended the full day of skills training and round robin matches. After being put through their paces, each girl received a Let’s Play medal of participation, a certificate and equipment to continue playing at their schools.

King Goodwill Zwelithini’s 5th wife, Queen Nompumelelo Mchiza a patron to Netball South Africa, joined in the festivities.
