Kranskloof Primary School score with Let’s Play & Sports Horizons

In the Natal Mercury recently (1/03/2012) there was a feature article by journo Leanne Jansen, on schools that were in the same neighbourhood, yet worlds apart. She highlighted Kranskloof Primary school as compared to Westville Primary. The sample pic in the article she compared at the outset was with the Grade 1 to 3 kids at Kranskloof Primary playing soccer using an empty water bottle, as compared to Westville Primary kids who play with a standard soccer ball.

The article also indicated that Kranskloof Primary (890 children in school, ages from 6-12yrs) is rather impoverished, but have a keen interest in cricket and rugby and play sport at a nearby sports field.

Mike Hermanson from Sports Horizons recently donated cricket & soccer equipment to Let’s Play and what better beneficiary to select than Kranskloof Primary.

The Principal was overwhelmed with the donation and took delivery on Friday 14th March.
