Kids love the Fun Horse Show

Let’s Play teamed up with River Park Stables in Sandton on Sunday 4th Dec for their annual ‘Fun Horse Show’.

More than 100 kids aged 4-14yrs, both abled and disabled, participated in this year’s event.

While the younger kids enjoyed fun and games with their Ponies, the older kids took on the more challenging 30 & 60cm jumps.

Horseback riding is considered a uniquely beneficial form of therapy.

A horse's gait, similar to the human walk, helps strengthen spine and pelvic muscles, improves posture and coordination, and increases joint mobility.

Along with physical therapeutic benefits, horseback riding gives people a feeling of control, a sense of accomplishment and increased self-esteem.
