Zambian duo for Highlanders

Highlanders are set to sign two Zambian players; Trinity Chalanshi and former national Under-23 attacker Ignatius Lwipa from Zanaco FC.

Highlanders coach Kelvin Kaindu, a former Zanaco winger, told Supersport.com that the two players are highly regarded and he is confident they will add value to his outfit.

He said that they want to finalise their capture as soon as possible so the duo can join them for pre-season training.

“They are good players,” said Kaindu. “Lwipa has played in the Under-23 national team and he has done very well as a striker for Zanaco while Chalanshi can play both as an attacking and defensive midfielder.

“There are just small logistics that the management needs to finish off with Zanaco then they will be joining us,” explained Kaindu.
