Dynamos sign Zambian midfielder

In order to strengthen their squad for the upcoming season, Dynamos have signed Zambian midfielder Aaron Katebe from Hwange Mine.

The midfielder will also be part of the Caf Champions League squad for DeMbare as they look to improve their performances on the continent.

Coach Callisto Pasuwa said that they have been looking at different players in different positions to beef up the team as they aim to field a competitive squad that can do well in all competitions. He told Supersport.com that they have signed some and they are still looking at few more.

“Yes we have signed Katebe. He has shown that he is a good player that can fit in our plans. He will add value to the midfield and also to the whole team,” he said.

“You know, next season is very busy for us both in Africa and in the local season as well. Katebe knows the local game having played for Hwange and that comes as an advantage to us,” the Coach of the Year said.

Dynamos are looking to improve on their performance in the Champions League last season, having been handed a tough draw early on which saw them sent tumbling out.

The club secured its place in the competition following a second consecutive double in the recently concluded local season.
