Monomotapa ready for Dynamos



Monomotapa reached the finals of the Mbada Diamonds Cup on Saturday after beating FC Platinum 1-0 but they had to wait until Sunday to know who they would meet in the final on 24 November.

After watching the action on Sunday, it came out they will be meeting double-chasing Dynamos, who out classed CAPS United 3-0 in Bulawayo.

Monomotapa coach Biggie Zuze said that as a team they are ready for Dynamos. He said they know they lost in the league against the same opponents, but they want to finish the season on a high note by fighting for the trophy.

The coach also warned his team against looking at the final now, saying that they must first focus on their remaining two games of the Castle Lager League.

“Last (time) they beat us 2-1 in a league game after we played very well,” he said. “We are ready for DeMbare in the cup final. They are a very good side and no doubt about that but if we can play the way we did against FC Platinum I see ourselves doing well in the final.

“But for now we have two league games to think about and concentrate on them before we meet Dynamos in the finals,” Zuze said.
