MTN/Faz Super League kicks off

After a recess of five months, action returns to the MTN/FAZ Super League this weekend with Zambia’s elite clubs based on the Copper belt squaring off on Saturday while those from the Midlands will play their matches on Sunday.

However, Football Association of Zambia (Faz) General Secretary, George Kasengele, has appealed to all clubs that have still not affiliated and registered with Faz to do so immediately.

“We want to appeal to those clubs that have still not affiliated and registered to do so immediately. Failure to affiliate and register simply means that the clubs in question do not belong to the Football Association of Zambia. There will be no special exceptions,” said Kasengele

Kasengele also added that SuperSport has introduced a new live match format for 2013 which will be revealed at a meeting with Super League Chairmen and Secretaries at the Cresta Golf View Hotel on Monday, 18th March.

The match involving NAPSA Stars and Green Buffaloes will be the first to televised live on Sunday by SuperSport at Woodlands Stadium at 3pm.
