Faz gets tough on coaches

The Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) has reminded all member clubs
in the MTN/FAZ Super League not to engage trainers who did not meet
the minimum qualification of a CAF Licence 'C'.
FAZ Communications Manager, Erick Mwanza, told fazfootball.com that
coaches (head or assistant trainers, goalkeeper coaches, physical
coaches with whatever physical education qualification, technical
advisors or club technical directors) would only be engaged by any
team in any football activity if they had a minimum of a CAF Licence
'C'.
"We expect clubs to fully comply with this regulation," said Mwanza.
"A coach without a CAF C license cannot sit on the technical bench
during training, friendly or practice matches. He cannot engage in any
form of training or take players through any kind of session or engage
in any activity that involves interaction with players in the Super
League."
